Just wondering how much boost I can run on stock internals 05 cobalt sc. Has gm stage 2 upgrade, ported m62, ls4 tb, 3" stainless header back zzp exhaust hp tuned. Currently only running 15psi.

 

Search function helps here, other than that, you cant just increase boost on a SC, you have to change the pulley to increase boost.

You wont be able to push enough power with the M62 to blow it up. If you do blow it up it will be because of other things.

only upgrades i have is OTTP stage 2 from chevy and muffler delete and i run 19psi if i fully open it up just fine

 

Really eh. I was thinkin of running 17 or 18 on the streets then maybe up to 20 at the track. Just wasn't sure of what the lsj can take. Definitely a solid motor thus far

 

soo how do you plan on changing your boost at the track ?
