how much would you guys pay?
I guess I'm not into the whole polishing **** even though it does look AMAZING. When I think of polishing something the only thing that goes with that is porting.. Then I think.. Head, Intake Manifold, Blower, etc... :P
Shouldnt be much.. Can i PM you when hes outta work and i talk to him?
Hes been doing metal work for over 5 years, used to anodize and chrome / alloy plate metal and polish metal for a living... Has professional compounds and such that do wonders.
Looking for a mirror finish?

pretty much... about a 5 step sanding process, then liquid polishing compounds.
the reason I made this thread is because I am a college student and have alot of time on my hands. I just bought a valve cover off a member and i will polishing it. just wondering if anyone would be interested in buying it after im done. the first one will go on my car and i will take pictures. but then i will pretty much just polish one, then trade the poilished piece+ the buyers stocker+ a little bit of cash. i enjoy doing it, so its not a pain for me. just seeing how many people would be interested.
thanks
and by doing it this way, i will always have a polished piece ready, so the buyer will get the finished piece with a couple days rather than having to send there stuff in, get it polished, and shipped back out- just an idea i had : )
sure can. pm me if anyone is interested. im thinking about 50 bucks for a valve cover. 100 a s/c (they are a pain in the you know what lol) and 25 a motor mount.
i have a valve cover and motor mount on the way, i will take finished pictures and post them to see if i get interest, and if not- i will atleast have one shiny good looking engine compartment lol
im sure he uses the paste compounds...the only problem with those is the finish isnt as chromy ( lol ) I have both, i think liquid looks better but solid is much easier to deal with because it doesent splash around when the rotory tool spins lol
