I dont think my cobalt is rare by any stretch but iwant to know how can i find out how many cobalt ss/sc were made from 2005-2007. I have a 2007 ss/sc cobalt in like this bright blue color but I never see anybody with it ever. So just wondering how many blue cobalts were made in 2007?

its not rare..esp lazer blue rarest i would think would be either..arrival blue G85 or sunburst G85.

 

ALOT...i think white is the most uncommoc ss/sc color. I could be wrong on that tho. The '07 year for cobalt ss/sc didn't last long either. They stopped production in like april '07 or something like that preparing for the t/c model. Blue is not a very uncommon color amongst us cobalts

 

good question...what about an 08 Slate Metallic Sport. i dont see this color gray anywhere. does anyone know of a site to find all the numbers of how many of what type was built....kinda like a collector car

 

Ok but how do i find out how many were made thats all i really want to know? I dont care if the car is rare its me beater im more of a toyota guy I just think the car is fun to drive around and beat on some srt-4 since they wont ever race my celica all trac.

Im not sure what the exact color of my car is but each year the blue is slightly different from that year previous to it. The cobalt color i have isnt the same blue isnt the same as the 05 and 06 they only made mine in 07 I know that much.

I have a 07 Cobalt ss/sc in sunburst orange metallic, non-sunroof, high wing, gunmetal wheels.

In 07 Most ss/sc's came with sunroofs and the smaller wings. They only made one style wheel in 07 and gunmetal was limited. Most came with that wheel polished. Sunburst orange was only made for two months in 07, they switched to painting the ss/sc's the sport-red tintcoat

 

It's most likey lazer blue, and I'm not quite sure how to find out....call gm?

 

Just wondering saw some kids signature on here said like 1 of 1,286 black cobalt ss/sc for 06. Just wondering how he found out.

if you have an 07' your color blue is Laser Blue Metallic (which is what i have). It replaced arrivial blue in 2006 .... As colors go, Laser Blue is a much rarer color than arrivial blue, because it came out in 2006. Arrivial Blue was used on cavaliers in 2003 & 2004. At shows I always get asked if my car has a factoy color on it, because the laser blue changes from blue to purple at different angles.

you are right about the 07's mainly coming only with the low rise. it took me for ever to find one with the high rise, and for the wheels .... the gunmetal wheels in 07' were actually malibu SS and impala SS wheels. The polished wheels were 06' left overs.

 

Rarest of the rare would be an Arrival Blue '06 2.4SS. Being as Arrival Blue was discontinued early-mid '06, and 2.4SS's came out in '06.........and no one was really ordering them yet as the spotlight was on the SS/SC's............well, lets just say good luck finding one. I've only seen one on the boards ever.

Also, the Granite Blue Metallic 2.4SS's (like Acey has) and Majestic Amethyst 2.4SS's (like WunSick used to have) are VERY rare as well.

 

I ordered mine in 07 and got the options I wanted. No idea if it is rare, but when I ordered mine I was told I had to take the polished ones since there were no gunmetals at the factory. So I ended up with the following. I don't think it is a rare combo but thought I would share:

- Laser blue metallic
- Heated seats
- no sunroof
- LSD
- High rise spoiler
- Polished wheels
- Side curtain airbags
- no OnStar

mine is similar ....

- Laser blue metallic
- heated ebony on ebony seats
- sunroof (almost got one w/o it, but it had some weird N.Y. emisions package on it)
- High rise spoiler
- Polished wheels

- 6 - cd changer

you are deff. right about both those colors !!! i almost bought a majestic amethyst 2.4SS, but it was an auto .... had leather and everything. sharp car and color

 

the rarest ss/sc's i can think of would be an 06 ABM g85 and no sunroof

 

Rarest I can think of would be an '07 Blue Flash Metallic SS S/C with G85. Since that color came in later on I don't think you'd find it with the gunmetal wheels or recaros.

i read the link, but i really dont think any 07 SS/SC's came in blue flash metallic. never seen it, or heard of it, but who really knows.
