how reliable has your balt been

So a little backround. I have been trying to decide to save up for a complete built turbo kit, or simply trading in and putting myself into further debt and buying a awd turbo car. Today I went to check out a 04 sti. dyno sheets of 375 whp. Which is good.
But on the way down there I felt as if I was betraying my car, its been so damn good to me.
I bought her at 10k miles, stock as stock can be. And Ive done soooo many things to it, its a completly car than when I got it. I boost hard every day, at least once a day. I do drive really good most the time. ive put 37 quarted passes the way she sits now and currently sits at 77k. and has not once cost me alot of money, really only spend money on oil changes.

Is this normal? I mean, i feel as if this has been one of my most reliable vehicles ever.
And to give it up for a car thats been modded by someone else seems stupid. I thought what if it breaks a week after. I know the cobalt isnt breaking.

So how many miles have you put on your cars. how hard do you drive it? would you consider it reliable.

Mine acts a lil weird right now, but I think thats because i need to go up in injectors bad. But never stranded. thats horrible.

I am the first owner of mine. Bought it with 3800 miles on it...it was leased. Completely stock, nothing done but maybe 1 oil change. So i considered that a huge plus. Car left me stranded once in a huge downpour. Broke the role pin on the shift linkage connecting to the trans. And thats it.....I run the thing hard damn near every day. Lowered with tein s-techs, 60lb injectors, 2.8 pulley, frt mount, zzp tuned, injen intake.....you get the idea. I'll boost 15-18 lbs all day and it loves it as do i. Love the car, but it will always give me hell once in a while. Wouldn't be a car if i didn't.

mine sucks ass

idle problem, knock in engine, rattles like a sonovabich, front suspension clunks, something in the pass door rattles over bumps, sunroof repaired twice and still clanks, power lags at times, ebrake is worthless... thats all i can think of in about 2 minutes.

been to the dealer about 5-6 times, some fixed and came back, others never fixed...

my signature sums up what i think of this car. Never will buy chevrolet again

QFT!

If you push a car to its limits, a bunch ob bolt ons, F/I, advanced tuning, things are going to go wrong eventually. Also, If you drive like a dick things will wear out much faster or even break. Goes for any car.

Exactly what he said. I put 50,000 kilometers on my in the last two years not a single problem. Just with my aftermarket header leak. I drive it nice but do get into boost alot. Every car is different.
