I think a more appropriate statement might be, "there's no such thing as free horsepower."

If you don't want the stage kit... then intake, header, downpipe, catback is as good as you can do

OTTP and GM Stage 2 are your only other options...

Take your pick

What people actually don't understand is that while cruising the cars deliver the same amount of fuel whether you have stock injectors or 1000cc injectors. Just because the injectors are rated at 95lbs per hour doesn't mean your gas mileage is going to suffer immensely. If properly tuned there should not be a decrease in gas mileage on 60lbers. In fact, there should be an increase over the gm stage 2 tune. At least these are my findings being a tuner.

I don't know exactly what your saying. If your talking about horsepower, yes you can get more horsepower with a tune on a stock car. You can also take off all of the boost/torque restrictions too. You can also get the fuel trims in line and dial in the maf along with many other things. Your tuner should go over that with you though. A tune is always a good idea to get, especially if your going to mod the car further.

That would be a great idea, if your looking for a tuner let me know. My rates are extremely reasonable.
