Yes but higher than 12 is better!

I was on a 2.7 pulley when I got done with my 06 SS/SC it was at 19 psi

if i can find some one with an hp tuner then ill but a 2.8 pulley and larger injectors until then im at a stand still

Why don't you just get the OTT stage kit... it has an HPTuners tune with it.

Hey, what l did was, l bought a 2.8 and 60's used off a member and got a friend to install and a local respected tuner to fix me up!! And l haven't noticed a dif in my mileage... its about the same

BUT the car pulls hard now

Total cost $450cdn with the tune

Our kit costs $366 cdn with the larger tensioner pulley or $410 cdn with a stage 2 belt. Plus shipping of course. Every part you need is included and they are all brand new.

Plus dont forget about cooling mods. from reading up on OTTPs site they highly encourage at least one cooling mod because these cars heatsoak real bad. OTTP offers a heat exchanger kit for around 250. i think their whole site is reasonably priced. you should take a look at it

From ur point of view, is it worth getting 2.7 pulley or just stay with 2.8 ? wha do u think?

stay with the 2.8, your not going to gain much other then higher iat2's from the 2.7.

Take a look at the ZZP stage kits. Cheaper than any other company and better parts.

ZZP dominates Ecotec tuning and performance. Every 11 sec car on the forums is powered by ZZP. Every top HP number was done using ZZP parts.


If you want a tune for max power with the pulley size left stock, we can custom do something for you. We can pickup about 25HP with only a PCM change.
