Huge Issue! Car Not Staying Started Multiple Codes

So I drove my car the other day and parked it..Went to start it up this morning and this happed..
https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v...33276858751407

Now I dont know if the video will work but basically its idling like **** RPM Hunting till it stalls out.

Codes were
P0101
p0102
And System Running to Rich (forgot the Code for that)

Now I cleaned the maf and it ran great until I shut it off and restarted so that leads me to believe that maybe I need a new MAF..Just trying to figure this issue out

Hey I was reading your comments on the video and I noticed you said it ran better for a little bit after you hit your maf with a hammer but then returned to running like crap. That's a tap test (I'm not making this up) and in the industry we test mafs like that, only we use the end of a screwdriver and lightly tap it lol. If your vehicle changes how it idles when tapping on it then it's definitely the maf.

Edit: I'd also like to add that with you having cams your car may not run properly without the maf plugged in. Reason being is if your car doesn't have the ve table setup properly or is set up to run only off of the maf the car won't run properly at all without the maf plugged in. Good luck.

post your car is broke in the problems and service section not the performance section

I would check the wires form the maf to the pcm for a short if they check good replace the maf

I dont thing he actually has cams, it just sounds that way. it should be able to idle without the maf plugged in, depending on your tune. My car runs and drives exactly the same with maf or no maf. Stock tune of course.

That's my point. Depending on how it is tuned it may not. My ve table isn't dialed yet so my car would go nuts if the maf were to fail.

I agree to check the wiring but the problem with that is if he doesn't have access to a diagram he won't know what should be what. The maf isn't just voltage and ground as you know. Obviously a good visual check is always a good idea but unless a wire is broken you won't be able to see a short.

Not busting your nuts just adding a little input.

the main thing that needs done is an ohms check for a short or broken wire
