Humm NGK plugs....

Ok so I was half tempted to buy ngk 2 step colders from zzp but i wanted to see if i could buy them at a local store well advance had BKR6EIX and it costed me 30 bucks for all four plugs, I couldnt remember the number at the exact time but the box was the same, as the price was damn near the same as well, as on zzps only difference was, was the numbers zzp has which is a BKR8EIX so I guess my question is, is do any of you guys know anything about the plugs I had purchased and if they would be a good plug to run or should I take em back and just order the ones off of zzp....? my current mods are in sig..... Thanks guys!

anyone..?

I like NGK BKR7E's (One step colder) gapped at .032 on my 2.8 pulley setup. Way cheaper than 2 step colder plugs.

Those are so expensive because they are the Iridium.. find a copper if they make it.

Really?!? Because on ZZP's site they have a drop down option on there site to where you can order a reg. standard heat plug, a 1 step, and then a 2 step.... I just ordered the 2 step yesterday.... here's there link: http://www.zzperformance.com/cobalt_...=490&catid=143

Go up to the drop down menu just at the top of the product...

O opps... sorry didnt read the above post above you fast; yeah the ones I got off of zzp was the iridiums...

i bought the same ones last yr. still have em. for short time, i went with the copper plugs...but they dont last and arent meant to last more than an oil change.

i really dont know how to tell the difference. im not a car god. all i know is they have been in for a long long time and still doing me good.

Copper plugs don't need to be changed every oil change. The have a life expectancy of easily 30k miles. The gap may grow with time though, so they should be checked at 10k mile intervals on a high performance vehicle.

with how much nitrous i used to run, i always kept the plugs as fresh as possible. plugs and oil change every 4000 miles. worked like a charm
