Im thinking about going back to my stock exhaust because the custom is just way too loud. And im wondering should I take out the reasonator?? Also is there anything else I could do while im doing this to help with performance or flow??

 

If you want your exhaust quieter, add a better muffler or a longer resonator, thats what quiets an exhaust down.. Oh yeah cats help too.

 

Is the stock resonator straight flow through?

 

No its not straight flow, also I don't know what would be a good muffler

Should I just try to put a longer reasonator with custom exhaust and see what that does? And someone said cats, I have my stock cat what difference does it make and what kind should I get?

I took a cat off of an 07 Z06 and put it on my car becuase it is a spun hi-flow cat. It is even better than the magnaflow hi flow cat.
