Hydro shield?

I just got a ebay intake with an aem dryflow filter. Do i need a hydro shield?

it does not hurt to have one i have one just in case
they dont cost much so y not buy one

only if it's a CAI, if you are setup as SRI, you won't need one

Yeah i noticed it was in the S/C
but I never knew that
I FAILED!!!!! lol
and i'm always getting pissed at the s/c's that flaunt their knowledge in the 2.4 section

Unless you drive through a large puddle you aren't going to hurt your engine. Filter might get wet but vaporizes quickly when the engine is running.
