i was wondering if i left the bottom of the airbox off if it would hurt anything? like if its raining or what have you

 

no i hacked apart my airbox and replaced with a k & n , model number is 1009 i believe , driven through HEAVY rain and never had a problem with water OR a cel , had it on the car for about 8,000 miles
