Question I lost 10 psi????

I driving my car and all of a sudden when im flooring it im getting like 8 psi, instead of the normal 18. What could be the problem? Could it be the boost bypass valve? Help people, this is driving me nuts!!!

Like Blazin said. Could you feel a difference, or were you just going by the gauge?

Could be some major belt slip. lol

Where would i check for a leak? When i manually move the bypass valve it really doesnt sound too smooth.

take it up and see they have to prove your mods is what caused it to happen.
my guess is the bypass valve, happened to be, clogged cat, shot o2 sensor, and stuck open bypass valve, went from 15psi to 10 and you could hear a fluttering sound like the boost was escaping

Why when i switch the 2 lines on the boost bypass valve i get 19 psi but when i hook it up normally i only get 9 psi. I bought a new bypass valve and put it on and it still didn't work. Does it need to be set a an exact point?

if you know any other SS/SC's, swap blowers with them (or just the bypass valve). Really, the bypass valve is the only thing big enough to leak 10psi of boost. what kind of guages do you have?

Check your spark plugs and see if they are burnt out

A list of mods would be decent pulley size, belt, over sized tensioner, ect, could be many things from gasket, bypass valve, belt slip, mods be a good place to start to know what would and probably failed

Could be the boost control solenoid.

Check your heat exchanger pump. if its not moving fluid, you will heatsoak rapidly and the ecu will cut boost by like half.

I disconnected the vacuum line off of the bypass valve that connects to the electronic solenoid and plugged the hose with a bolt and i have all my boost back. The valve is working with the one hose disconnected, kind of like a blow off valve. So the problem is the electronic solenid??? I looked at my intercool fluid and i couldnt see it flowing so i added some and hit the pump with a ratchet and now its working. When i disconnected the plug off of the electronic solenoid before iwas only getting like 4 psi. So do you think the computer is ok and i should just have chevy change the solenoid? I will see if they can do it under warranty? My mods shouldn't matter right?
My mods are Injen intane, SLP shorty headers, XTC catless downpipe, SLP exhaust, ford motorsport 42# injectors, pulley boys 2.8 pulley, aem meth injection, cobra front mount heat exchanger, and all my tuning is done by TUNETIMEPERFORMANCE.
