Just got off the phone! I asked about the Titanium rods, he said over a $1,000 a rod. 200hp per rod is plenty though.

The stock rods are forged, anyone know their rating? We did ~465WHP without issue.

i have the pauter rods as well.... my engine builder was very pleased with them. You also need 2 think about the piston pins u have. IF they r the one that come with the diamond piston they r bigger than stock. but pauter builds them 2 size the first time cutting u some cost

450-500crank hp or so (350 by GM)
and I have still yet to see proper proof of that 465whp.

We have a dyno chart, video and the car. What more proof do you need?
We started in the three hundreds and documented the whole project all the way up to 465. Then we had a customer come by and buy a kit and hit 400WHP like nothing. He's got vids posted all over this site.

I think you're just being a hater.

Oh trust me I'm not a hater at all. I like what you're doing don't get me wrong. All I saw was a partial dyno sheet, and a 3 second pull on the dyno.
Also for head and cam flow numbers, it just doesn't seem possible. I got it to 440whp and didn't want to push it anymore.

We're actually going to be tuned for a 50/40/10 mix of water/methanol/nitromethane. And if we port the head we're looking for somewhere in the 500whpish range

These guys got crower ecotec rods: http://www.importperformanceparts.ne..._cavalier.html
700 bucks for billet is better than the grand crate engine is selling what they got...says 2.2 and 2.0 but you'd have to check with BC. I won't bother checking jbp.

I think they said they used race gas to get the 465.
