I think I may have found a source for a Twinscrew!
Not sure how legit this is, but I stumbled upon it while googling.....

Kenne Bell won't give one up, so I'll have to go through the link provided at the beginning of the thread to get one. That is unless I can find one on Ebay. The TB mount and adaptor plate are simple, as Sheek360 answered a question last night for me that gave me the resolve for all the problems I thought of as for mounting issues. The crazy thing is that he didn't think he could help me with the question I asked, but what he told me was like gold. I already made a diagram for the mounts. I just need to blueprint them when I have actual measurements for a few things, but that has to wait until I get home. Patience is a virtue.
In addition to my first post about the procharger, here is a link with LOTS of pictures over on the redline forum about the install.

It's the damn blower that is so expensive!

I realize that some people don't have the ambition or desire to take the Cobalt to the next level. Since I started doing all my own work to the SS, it has been far more reliable. As you can see, I have most of the supporting mods necessary for my goals. There isn't a part that goes onto my car without thought and prior planning first. I however, want to take my 4 cylinder to the next level. Times, slips, and dyno numbers don't mean anything to me. They are nice to have, but the joy I get from my car is shown by all the blood, sweat, and tears poured into it. My car has character because of it, and it has also gained the respect of a lot of people because of it. Drivng my car gives me a sense of pride because it is something I have created. 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12 cylinders does't matter to me. What matters is that the car shows my personal reflections in it, and the joy of drivng what I created is why I keep pressing on with it. It is far more than a hobby or something to waste my money on. It is a passion for me. It the only thing I have found, that keeps my attention forever and allows the best of my creativity to come out. So with that said, I will keep pressing on with my Cobalt while others will move on to bigger and better things. Nothing beats the rush I get when I'm drivng down the road, and get slammed back into that lovely huggin Recaro seat with a grin from ear to ear the entire time. This is why I want to do this swap. Not to prove people wrong, but to be original, creative and constructive, and finally to enjoy the benefits of it when all is said and done.

The Autorotor page on their site is being revamped at the moment, But if the prices are similar I can finally get my blower! Here is the site by the way:

I'd call them, but I can only use the phone twice a week here and that is to call the family.

lmao a 4 cylinder with a roots is already bad ass, but with a twin screw, you may just start a revolution.
I just got off the phone with Ed Martinez at PSE. He gave me alot of information. First, they are moving to OKC. Next, he already had someone bring in a SS/SC and he said that the supercharger is producing 14lbs of boost stock, but the engine is only seeing 10lbs because of the intercooler. He tested at the supercharger and then again after the intercooler (or something like that, however they do it). Next, he said if someone brought him their car and wanted a twinscrew installed you would be looking at 5k and a months worth of work. It's not just R&R, he would have to engineer a new intercooler and other crap. But, he said you would definately get your moneys worth. He has a ford lightning that he put 30k into and its pushing over 700hp. But if anybody is serious about getting one, he wouldn't let the car leave until everything was perfect and that most of his clients are people building to race.

I just need a price for the blower and snout. I already have a price from one other place, and if I could get it for cheaper there, I'd buy it from PSE. I'll do all my own fab work, as I can't stand paying someone to have all the fun and enjoyment I get out of taking something from a drawing and turning it into my own custom reality. I'd feel a better sense of pride if I did it myself. The intercooler does not need a redesign, as it's already been proven on one KB swap. I have a drawing of the setup I designed, and all I would need to do is some measurements and be off to fabbing it all up.

up to 24 psi w/ 80000 rpms and 150 degrees cooler than the eaton
Three totally different ways of making power here. This should be fun, well at least as soon as my girlfriend gets a job again.
I'll be interested to see where everyone comes out though, that is for sure.
well just sold the monte carlo today so that added some cash to my spending limits.... my motor will be here on friday and the parts ordering begins next week.... once a certain someone gets home from sema
