I think I may have found a source for a Twinscrew!

PSE superchargers sells Autorotor and Lysholm twinscrew blowers new. This is just for the blower, but the Lysholm 1200AX is $1450. You will still have to buy the nose drive and pulley though. The Autorotor page on their site is being revamped at the moment, But if the prices are similar I can finally get my blower! Here is the site by the way:

http://www.pse.us/

Product > New Superchargers > Twinscrew > Lysholm or Autorotor.

I'd call them, but I can only use the phone twice a week here and that is to call the family.

If you want, you guys can occasionally check out www.racingjunk.com sometimes good stuff on there...

I'd go for the 1600ax BTW since you're going to spend the money, get more out of it...

For tons of info just check out Opcon's site since Lysholm, Laminova and tons of other places are branches of Opcon.

2000 for a twin screw

or for 2000 i could get

remanufactured m90 AND

ported and polished head AND

cams AND

hptuners AND

60 lb injectors to controll it all

if it doesnt work go back to the m62 and feel good that u got the benefits out spending money on the head and the programing

if the twin screw doesnt work like some folks are expecting they will be kinda fucked

Why is that? All the adapter plates use bolts to hold stuff on...sell the twinscrew for just as much as you paid, or more if you got a good deal on it.

Oh well, someone else got a M90 on the way too so we'll know and confirm the M90 is a waste...

Wtf?
The $1450 is for a brand new blower. The $600 is to rebuild a blower you currently have.

Can someone call and ask how much for the Autorotor OA 3133? That is the 1.33L one that is the perfect match for our application. I'd call, but I'm sort of deployed at the moment, and that's not quite official business and I'm not using my limited morale calls for a supercharger even know getting one would "BOOST" my morale over here! Thanks.

Serpico,

$1500 for the supercharger
$500 for HPT
$220 for 60Lb injectors

Total: $2220 for 350+whp = money well spent to me
A turbo kit to my liking and specs would have cost me closer to $4000. And that includes me making/welding all the pipes and other fabrication involved.

Vandy- If I bought this badboy, and gave you a blueprint for the adapter plate for the manifold, could you have one made in aluminum? I took two years of machining, and I'm pretty decent at it, I just don't have access to a milling machine. If not, I'm going to have to get pretty creative. The TB mount/bypass is an easy fab though.

Personally, I bought the Cobalt because I love the looks. I had no plans on getting rid of the SC but things change.
I don't like the looks of the SRT-4 and personally I don't like 4 door cars as far as speed goes. That also eliminates a bunch of other brands you may want to mention.

gona be hard for that 1500 dollar supercharger to make boost without a nose drive and some pullies

so tac on another 500 bucks unless you happen to get lucky and nail the exact amount of boost your looking for with a blower that has never been used in this application

Yeah, whoever is the first to get one will need to buy like 4 or 5 pulleys!

When I do a twinscrew...I don't have to worry about the whole fuel limit...8 injectors FTW!

OR, you could just sell your SS/SC, or trade it, and get something that already has more potential....

I love my SS/SC, but it requires way too much work, as well as cash to get the thing into the 11's, or 10's....

This is just my opinion, so don't go getting all pissed off. I think the car is best used as a moderately fast daily driver. Anything else, and you should use another platform. Its more economical, and just a better decision all the way around. This is at least, what I intend to do...

i think 11`s will be possible with a m90, rob is running 12.8 with a m62 so i would think there is the potential to shave another 3/4 of a second off the with a better sc.
