IAT and IAT2...the official thread.
air in the lines will cause irratic temps as well.

Seriously, check the connection you will have to take it off to do it easily(only 2 bolts) and just hold it in your hand and plug it in, you will know if it comes on b/c it will jerk in your hand
I only paid $20 bucks for my Cobra one off of one of my friends so it shouldnt be that hard for you to find one.

Gotcha, and thanks again man. I would you go about bleeding the system? I take the plug off the top of the stock H/E?
I will have to take a look at that tonight to see what mine is set to. So with the factory setting is that 10 seconds after the car is running?
just open the cap, and let it run for a while, fill it up as needed

Hi Anom
So this morning on the way to work I logged both IAT and IAT2. My IAT was hovering around 30*F @ 18*F ambient and my IAT2 by the time I got to work was 100*F @ 18*F ambient.
This morning was fairly easy going traffic. I am basically on the Deerfoot most of the time. I was running about 100km/hr (60 mil/hr) for a good 20 minutes no stop and go trafic at 83*C (181*F) operating temp. Once I got off the freeway I only had to stop at 4 lights and only waited at them at most 1 to 4 minutes.
cheers

at 100km/h in 18* ambient temps, you should be alot cooler.
Well I just took it for a good run. Again my IAT2 - 120*F at operating temp. I opened the IC cap and took a look and from what I can see the pump was not moving the fluid. (ie: no turbulance) So I believe either the pump is gone or maybe the fuse is hooped. Is there a fuse for the IC pump. Or maybe when they fixed my shifter cable pin under the Fuse box on Jan 3/2008 they did not put the fuse back in properly or maybe they nocked the fuse and it is not siting properly in the fuse box.
Any insite to this theory.

my iat1 is about 2-5 deg above outside and iat2 runs 20-30 deg above iat1 when cruising around. I did 2 back 2 back 2.5 mile top speed runs on new years when it was 65 deg and after the second run my iat2 was 118 was cruising and started to quickly drop. I'll do a vid tomorrow on the way to work and post it up in this thread for all to watch.
edit: I usually drop 2 20 above on the iat2 when cruising for a few miles.
edit2: "cruising" for me is 5+ miles on the highway at a steady speed
edit3: I have no cooling mods just a stock pullied car with intake, header, downpipe

Yah, I checked the fuses and they are all seated properly. I also pulled into my old work and took a look under the car at the pump and both myself and my old boss confirmed the pump is not working or seems like it is not working (No turbulence in the filler tube). I wiggled the wires and pushed the connector in to make sure it was seated. I did not disconnect the wires to se if the connections were dirty though. I just put a bid in on a Bosch cobra pump. I will check my pump on the weekend when I have time to make sure the pump is the problem. If it is at least I will have a pump on the way and if it isn't well I will have one on hand just in case. i would have it looked at under warranty but I just don't have the time to leave my car at a dealership when I could fix it myself.
For what I have read after doing a search on intercooler pumps on our site I have all the same simptms others speak about and it all points to a worn out pump.

My IAt1 was running at 30*F (-1*C) the ambient temp was -1*C (30*F) all day here. My IAT2 was at 122-130*F so there is a huge difference and everyone says the difference between the two while say cruising at 100km/hr should only be 20-30* difference.
