IC Pump

Has **** the bed, officially confirmed today when coolant in the filler neck was just sitting there lol not jumping around, bubbling, flowing; nothing

It had been in and out up until now but i think its finally **** out on me completely

Question is, where have some of you ordered a new one from?

OTTPs is backordered still
ZZP wants $200....too much IMO

Need ideas

Ive heard the Cobra/Lightning IC pump is the exact same as ours; does this mean its a plug-and-play or are the wirings different or something?

Input on where you guys are getting IC pump replacements or what youve done

Thanks

Are the wirings that come with this necessary for the Cobalts though? Like the link Karlen89 posted looks like its just the pump, will i be able to just pull the connectors on my pump and bolt the new one up in there and plug the new one into the connectors and be good to go basically?

By pigtail are you referring to the positive/negative wirings that come with this so you can wire it the opposite way for your Redline?

he wants to know if you have to cut the factory harness to wire it up or just plug in the factory connector.

It's just a Bosch intercooler pump. Find where you can get it the cheapest and order one. They are the same, same plug and everything.

The lightning pump does plug and play.. It shows up in a ford racing box though, that was kinda embarassing...

it just comes with the connector for the reason that frozen boost uses that pump for their kits. the pigtail is not connected. you don't have to use it and i didn't have to use it. without the pigtail you wont get the pump running well.

What lead you guys to the idea that yours had quit? High IAT2's?? something else?? Besides the fact that a person could go out and check the thing...didn't know if this was a symptom deal.

Iat2s through the roof and never recover and then to confirm it i checked the filler neck and coolant is just sitting there, if the IC pump was working then the coolant would be jumping around/bubbling/flowing
