Icing the stock after cooler
Icing the stock after cooler
I was wondering is there any use in icing the stock aftercooler with some very very cold ice water? I was thinking of doing this at the track, but whats your alls opinion?

"The part between the AC condensor and radiator" is the heat exchanger for our air to liquid after/intercooler, which is located between the supercharger and intake manifold.
What kind of track are you talking about?? Do not put ice on your car at the drag strip and then drag water up to the lanes.

I tried putting a bag of ice on top of the S/C last time I went to the track, and threw it away. Reason being, because right after taking off the bag, the S/C immediately went back to it's usual temps. Seems like the gauge of the metal on the S/C is too thick to use this method. Just a hassle unless done right, in my opinion. Just my 2 cents
