Im having problems ...please help
Ever since I ran 103 mph a few weeks ago , my car has lost ALOT of power that pretty much is not explainable . I thought the clutch wasnt holding , but after testing today I dont see how it couldnt be . My car before would always hit the rev limit @ WOT in 3rd gear once I tapped 100 mph ....today , my car STILL does that . If it were a slipping clutch youd think the RPM's would have climbed and I woulda hit the rev limit at alot sooner RPM . Both last week and today at the track , at very best I got 97( as low as 95 mph) mph in the same or BETTER air quality ....thats 5-6 loss freakin mph on average . I used to blow the tires off and have to peddle the 1-2 shift . Now I powershift 1-2 and it hooks up . Launching today I got alot less wheel spin than I normally do , got the car out cleanly and could only get a best 60 ft of 2.29 . I could peddle the throttle off the line before and still get a 2.0 60ft easily . The car just feels much slower , but theres no symptoms to explain why . Im getting 0 knock , the same 12.4-12.8 lbs of boost I always gets ( aeroforce and my mechanical boost guage read the same ) , my 02 voltage at WOT is 840-880 like always , theres nothing I can possibly think of wrong with my car that would explain the loss in power . It idles normal , drives normal .
The only things Ive changed since the last time I raced are 1) I added a mechanical boost guage and 2) I took the factory pipe that 2.25 from the axle back and replaced it with mandrel bent 2.5 and swapped the edelbrock muffler for a Borla Turbo xL . Ironically , at low speed around town driving , I can feel the extra HP ....so much so I was dying to get to the track again . That mod is NOT gonna lose me 5-6 mph and make my car feel like doggy in the higer rpms's .
With the mechanical boost gauge I t'eed into the vacum line that goes from the bypass seloniod( the small selonoid with the electrical plug , not the big valve off the blower ) to the intake . Could I have created some kinda wierd vacum leak there . I doubt it because my boost and vacum readings are normal on the gauge . Can someome take a picture of the bypass selonoid for me , a clear pic of the top of it ? I did notice a small hole there that "look" like something "maybe could have been broke off . A big maybe .
Can someone tell me off their aeroforce what their throttle PCT readings and engine load readings are at WOT ? My PCT is at 87 @WOT , and engine load today was be-bopped between 96-98 . Which one of those represents throttle open percentage ?
Sorry to be so vauge , my car just doesnt exibit technically any problems whatsoever , but the fact its much slower .
Please help

If you have a vacuum leak from the boost gauge installation, that will affect your power. Ensure all your lines are tight, and possibly ziptie them near the "T" piece. Also check at the gauge connector as this could get loose too.
I wanted to bypass it all together , and stick a straight fitting in that line , while doubtful ....to see if anything changes . But hey , I learned something I already knew , pep boys , auto zone and advance are worthless as ever and dont have the vacum fitting I need . I'll find one somewhere tomorrow .
