I'm looking into tuning my stocker

Hey guys, I finally found a dynojet shop in my area, and he said that he would give me a tune for $500..is this bad or good, because I have no idea about this stuff. How much of a power gain can I expect? For the record, he is an all GM dyno shop.

with no mods you will feel a change but not a huge one, and 500 seems a bit steep.

If that includes the dyno time its not that bad of a price. But with no mods it will not be worth it, wait till you get atleast an intake, pulley and injectors then go

I figured it did. he was a bit of an ass anyway..he threw some kind of jargan, like more air pressure, and MAF Sensor tuning...**** like that just seemed funny... No pulley's inj. or anything... just seemed like tuning. Is there a way to buy a pulley without having to put injectors or anything like that? Or should I just keep it simple and purchase a CAI? My car is a DD and I do drive mostly highway miles to college...so I kind of want to keep it simple.
