ya i thought it could be my pump but i hear it when it kicks on.. and i also see my coolant get sucked down in the overflow for the factory heat exchanger
Then your pump is more then likely fine, however your iat2's are WAY to high and need to be monitored. If you have an interceptor gauge watch your iat2's if you don't get one asap. I would recommend NOT doing any multiple pulls without a way to monitor your iat2's.
ya i actually was running nitrous and it was cooling the iat2's quite a bit.. im planning on throwing the kit back on and running a 100shot once i get my car runnin right.. i was previously runnin a 55, then bumped it up to a 65..

would i def have to retune? i wasnt sure if i would just have to richen it up a lil bit but i am running a zex wet kit and before wehn i was sprayin the 55 n 65 shots it was perfect.. but ya sprayin a 100 shot is quite a bit more juice lol
ya actually i have the stock comp. diamond pistons.. i think the block should be able to handle it just fine. hopefully. lol i just wanna dip into the 12's
I run falken ziex 912's and they actually do pretty good believe it or not. I need to drop the tire pressure in them but if I grab some rotated trans mounts I should be able to cut REAL low 13s with a 35shot.
ya hptuners was reading my iat2s around 190 after a few hard pulls.. i have no cooling mods anymore becasue i took my wet zex kit off.. ive ran it with this setup for about a year or so.. how would the muffler clog up if it was a "straight thru" design like corsa says? but i do agree that it seems like it would be an exhaust issue because air is comin in and just sittin there and not coming out..
get a new he, meth, and maybe dual pass.
Also, with 7* of knock dont go wot till its fixed, drop ur timing at wot and once you can pull through to redline w/out knock, add cooling mods and slowly begin ramping up timing again.
But be carefull or you will pop your motor again very soon

well last night i went over to a buddy's house n gutted the cat, threw the DP back on and PROBLEM SOLVED!! the material inside the cat must have gotten loose and blew back to the end of the chamber and it actually dented my rear 02 sensor! kinda weird how that happend but its outta there now n runs great! only downside is its soo raspy n loud.. looks like a big ass resonator is gonna be in the near future
