Is it possible to throw the impala ss motor in the cobalt? I have a buddy who is gonna give me the motor for free if it will work. Lemme know.

Anyway, as a clueless man myself i have also thought of the late model fwd 5.3 and if swapping is anywhere near feasable. In reality under the hood the impala isnt too huge minus the wheelbase. However any engine swap these days is near impossible with the hundered miles of wiring you need

U could do it with the know how and funds needed, but if your asking u don't have the know how or funds

 

it should bolt in better than the stock motor lol

 

if ur gona do a major engine swap u should covert the car to rear wheel drive...
i don't thing the ls4 and trans will even fit between the strut towers...besides the fact of moding the hell out of the suspension to handle the extra weight in front...
