Looks interesting. A nice one time deal thing to replace all the vacuum hoses, plus some.

Did not see anything out of the oridinary when comes to boost? It the hose was cracked to the point of allow a leak, it seems a considerable drop in boost would have been seen on the gauge

I just replaced both the lines on my car, I am at 120K and both were all dried out and cracking. I measured the stock line and bought 3/16" ID line at napa and used it for both. I had to work with the guy to find one with thicker walls so it wouldn't collapse in.

Only pain was trying to get the new line on the fittings, especially the tight bend one.

^ not really but I don't think my stock lines had any cracks/leaks. They were getting bad though, if you touched one it the outside would come off as dust and go everywhere.

Just thought id let you know. I spent years trying to figure this out and always thought the vacuum lines were ok.
Was your car throwing a CEL? Any codes?

A simple but good reminder.

Always start with the basics when diagnosing a problem.

Found another crappy vacuum line - the big hose w/ the clamp that is by the TB. The crimp-style clamp must've worn out over time and lost it's tension. I replaced it with the screw-type hose clamp and no more leak there.

The car runs like a RAPED APE now and gained 1mpg. Just thought i'd update.

The one under the modified mag logo, you can see the crimp clamp on there.

Just got a replacement yesterday for mine, the idle isn't completely smoothed out but it's noticeably better! Might have to clean the TB soon, what do you guys use?

When cleaning the TB do u guys spray the tb (when its off the car of course) or do u just get a rag and spray tb cleaner on it , and then scrub with it? Only thing I know is that u have to use non-chlorinated cleaner.

I spray it on a rag, and wipe the throttle body.

Spray onto rag, then wipe. It says not to directly spray it on if you have a blown car, on my bottle.

Don't take the tb off of the car unless you have a new gasket. Just make sure the car is off and clean it with an old rag.
