Increased horsepower...
um okk.... i was gonna say why cant someone answer this guys ? but idk if he has really done any research on his car. getting more power when turning the drl off? how does he figure that lol. please do some research. im all for learning. so try searching a lil through the forum here (alot of great info) then asking ?s like this after you have some background info
Yes, it was a serious question. The fuse is in the engine compartment and I seriously want to know how much horsepower my power steering is sucking.
I already got a bit more power by pulling the fuse on my daytime running lights (mandatory in Canada).
I have a stage 2 and occasionally run 110 octane racing fuel. Ive reduced my weight in every imaginable way and am looking for another edge.
I was hoping someone here had an answer, but I'm obviously wasting my time. I'll call my GM service person.

man... you'll gain like 200 WHP... it's better then stickers .... seriously dude.. do it... and then you can't drive the car... it's seriously difficult on these cars with how they set it up...
Can we get dyno charts posted after you do this? The .2 hp may very well be worth the strain to make my car leave a straight line.
Go play in traffic.
Actually, I have a better idea. Pull your fuse, stand at the end of a drag strip, and have someone try to steer around you at the last second in your own vehicle.

**** off!
Why do you guys always pull the ******* nationality card on us when someone, who we're not even sure is from Canada, says something stupid. There are plenty of Americans on this forum staying stuff that's just as stupid, but you don't see us bashing you cause you're from the States? I hate people like that.

I'm not stressed, just frustrated by all the comments like that one. It's people like that, well people who make comments like that, who give Americans a bad name in Canada. I'm just trying to make everyone aware that we're all the same here and that comments like that aren't always appropriate.

Hmmm... wow... just wow...
Pulling fuse on daytime running lamps = 0 HP
Pulling power steering fuse = 0 HP
Running 110 octane fuel in a stage 2 vehicle without a tune = you may gain a few HP just because of timing, but like 5 HP probably at best and that is being pretty optimistic. It would probably be more like 2 HP at best.
