Info. on the Vibrant Header Back System

At SEMA Vibrant released a 4-2-1 header,a High Flow Metal Cat Downpipe with a Flex Pipe, & Cat back w/ a Resonator & a 4 in. tip. This should make some good power! I want to see some photos though...I emailed Dino @ Vibrant regarding pricing as well. still waiting......

It goes from 4 tubes, to 2 tubes, to one, unlike the tog and scdyne which go from 4 tubes to one tube.

Does 4-2-1 make more than a 4-1?

Here is a picture it may explain it better than i could state it. notice how the tubes join together from 4 to 2 and finally just to 1. Sometimes headers have all 4 runners meet together at one spot this is a 4-1 design.

May be a dumb question but what are the Advantage's and Disadvantages between a 4-2-1 and a 4-1 design?

4-2-1 keep most of the bottom end torque but has a mild improvement on mid and top end HP.
4-1 looses a bit more bottom end torque but has a much higher improvement on top end than the 4-2-1.

4-2-1 also helps with scavenging, with supercharged engines don't need help with. A TOG style 4-1 is still going to be the best IMO.

Yeah I'm going to go with a TOG probably early next year right after I get my Stage 2 upgrade. Does the TOG header stil cost around 460 or was that only a group purchase price? If it was a group purchase price, what are they selling it now for?

dino and the guys at vibrant are awsome

i have there 3'' catback on my car, they used my car for fitement and building of the products.

there stuff will be high class and very very good quality and pricing.
