InfraRedline's all out turbo and build thread

Bullseye called me yesterday. They received my turbo yesterday morning, and didn't really have an explaination as to what happened. Said it was something they had never seen before, so they covered everything and even shipped my repaired turbo back the same day! So it is on the way and will be here Monday, as will my injectors
Put the car on 20-21 lbs for a few pulls last night. It felt so strong. If it doesn't rain I'll get to drive it tonight some, then it will sleep for a few days while its colder out and I swap the turbo.

Sounds like they found a turbo gnome in your turbo, pretty rare indeed now and these days. Their goal in life is to jack your **** up. Glad they sorted it out.

Yeah he honks slower than **** (did in his cobra too) and he didn't understand I was trying to brake boost, and he was trying to slow it down so his car would drop into 1st. I'll re-run him on the same boost when its warmer out and we can make it a little cleaner and go longer. Was just a quick spur of the moment fun run. I shifted out of 3rd at 7k. Gonna put the 1200's in this week along with the Mini AFC so I will have a full RPM range of fuel I could dick with the PE table right now but its a moot point since the goodies are going in.

I had a crap race with an ls1 rx7 with cam, headers, stock 4.10 rear end, and drag radials this weekend. He pulled a half car or so while I was spinning 2nd. Once I hit 3rd I started coming back but he let off Al like 100. So technically he won. Not gonna deny that. But I never saw tial lights and was starting to come back pretty hard
