Ingalls ETD adjustment
Ingalls ETD adjustment
I have an 06 ss/sc with GM stage 2, GM stage 3 pulley, and an AEM cold air intake. I will be installing my Ingalls Torque dampner tomight. What level should I set it at just for daily driving purposes. 12mm 17 mm. Just curious as to what the optimum setting should be.
I believe the setting range is 10mm-15mm. Mine is my daily driver and I have it set right at about 10.5mm. Works great for me performance-wise and the extra vibration and noise isn't bad; I doubt it will bother you. It's not hard to adjust, though - experiment and see what you like best.
I set it to about 11. I cant feel the vibration, if there is extra I have grown quite used to it. I get 0 wheel hop, so, I dont think any tighter will make much difference. Just my $.02, Good luck with it!!!!!!!! I'm sure you will love it!!!!
my friend did is at 11mm like it says and i could tell that wasnt tight enough so i took it off and tighten it a good bit more, almost all the way, and he loves it now. i have one on my civic si and i have tighten all the way and i have had no problems considering its been one there for over a year. btw, take it off the car to adjust it! if it doesnt reach the hole in the bracket when go to put it back on then have someone push the motor back with their hands to make it reach. cuz if you just adjust it to line up with the bracket holes then you are still gonna get alot of motor movement.
