i could see doing that with a 2.8" which is 15,857 rpm (just a little less than running a 2.6@7k)

that seems like alot of revs to be running your blower at, i wonder what your iat2's are at
Whats the calculation again for determining that? I plan on running my 2.6" to maximum of stock 6500rpm.

going from a 6" crank pulley:

6 x 3.14159 = 18.84954

2.6 x 3.14159 = 8.168134

18.84954 / 8.168134 = 2.30769

2.30769 x (rpm) = blower revs ie: 2.30769 x 7400 = 17076

-------------
divide 18.84954
by
2.6" = 8.168134
2.7" = 8.482293
2.8" = 8.796452
2.9" = 9.110611
3.0" = 9.424770
then multiply your answer by rpm and you have the blower rpms
-------------

hope this helps

simply put, the 2.6 is awesome

i do not have IAT's the car runs fine, made many passes on it.

havent taken her to 7K, but around 6K boost is around 19PSI. (2nd gear)

im not daily driving this pulley, its coming off teh car until i can get an interceptor to see whats going on..

Check it out.

I'm who SRT4_UK (Jon) was talking about running the 2.6" pulley with the 42.5# injectors throwing codes. I think with proper tuning there is a possibility of the injectors being fine with the 2.6, but I've got the custom PCM from INTENSE and the 60 lb. Injectors now. This setup seems to work a lot better for me, but damn that idle is rough.

Thank you for the formula

you're welcome...

me personally i would go with a larger pulley and turn up the revs on the engine. at 7k and 2.8 i'm pushing 14,718 blower rpm, and i plan on bumping it up atleast another 100 rpm once we get it on the dyno for some tuning week after next

i've only seen one person post their iat2 logs with a 2.6 and they were pretty high. mine on a hard run in 82 degree weather hit 108 at the end of second and 127 at the end of third this morning.

2.6 with gm stg tune is differetn than what I got... I have a custom hp tune for this setup ,gm code is a defferent setup and needs to be adjusted to work with the 2.6// and my afrs are pretty good now sitting around 12.2-12.8 gotta fix a spike to 13.6 at 7000 than it goes back to 12.6
