Injen OR AEM intake?!
I am under the understanding that approximately 42% of everyone who completed the Intake poll has injen and only 11% with AEM, all of my research however (the internet is tainted so need help here) suggests that AEM intakes preform better and dont have the "laggy" midrange response like that reported with Injen. it sounds that i am "Pro AEM", but really i am just "Pro Facts", and i was woundering what everyone else may have heard about Injen or AEM? any info from owners would be greatly appreciated!
thank you

The AEM intake is just replaces the air box, and uses the stock tubing. An injen is a complete intake. I don't know if you would really notice the difference between the two. I bought an AEM cause it was cheap, and I don't really care if I have the shinny intake tube under the hood lol

Does the AEM come with the dryflow? I think that would be the real debate...
I've read posts that the dryflow is easier to suck water up with than the oiled injen filter, but I'm no expert.
I've had my Injen for almost 3 years now, no problems, sounds great with the S/C, and I've never had water problems. Only PITA is oiling it, but that's not hard if you follow directions. Oh and I've never experienced the laggy response you were talking about.
