The only thing that worries me are a few metal barbs sticking out inside the welds. I don't want one breaking off and flying into my supercharger.

Update:
Got the intake installed - It sounds amazing, can't beat it. No CEL's.
Problem however:
The kit comes with a rubber grommet that you use to mount to the car. I tried using it but it just pushed the filter into the bumper. I made my own rubber washer and just bolted the intake on that way, it gave just enough clearance away from the front bumper.
I noticed after I closed my hood, a bracket on the hood gave it a nice scrape
I used a grinder to get more clearance (right up to a rivet), but it still scratches just barely. I put some adhesive foam tape on the intake tube to prevent it from getting any more scratched. Anyone else have this problem? I'm not sure if not using the grommet they provided me made any changes to cause the clearance problem under the hood.
