Injen DRY filter ???

Well I have had my ingjen intake for over a year and a half and thought that it was a dry intake filter. I am 99% sure that it is a dry filter, but know that i am thinking of cleaing it people are saying it is wet. The main reason I went with Injen was because it was dry. Also if it was wet it would have been wet when it was shipped or atleast a can to spray it. Let me know about this!!!

would the injen not be pretty much the same as the K&N intake?....considered "dry"...but has an oil on it?...all filters that i know of have some sort of an oil on them to keep them longer. and as far as i know...most cleaning kits are always sold seperately...

no.

a dry flow is just that a dry filter without oil

most all are oiled, and frankly work about the same.

the injen is not dry anything it is a plain old oiled filter.

dryflow" is a scam and noone should pay more money for a dry filter

heck, the stock filter is dry

actually after u spray the cleaning solution on and wash it off u will see that the red on the injen filter is actually oil. the filter itself isint really red.

also, if u maintain ur filter and clean and re oil it with every engine oil change it should last you forever.
