search #1 as this has been dicussed before but since im getting laid tonight, ill help ya out

Cel is 99% lean code, jsut get HP tuners and clear it and delete it for good. as for the RPMS, mine does that sometimes if im cruising down in 5th and shift to N around 10-20mph. my rpms will drop to 500 or so then kick back up to idle. Been doing that on me for 47k miles and its really nothing to worry about.

I've heard of a few cars with funny idle, but it shouldn't directly be the injen. I didn't have a problem with it at all in 5,000 miles. I'm sure disabling the code will help, but surely there is some other underlying cause since not all injen installs are causing this and a lot of people have to get reflashed to fix idle issues.

brad, there was a TSB about erratic idle a while back...also, some people say to remove the NEGATIVE battery terminal before installing an intake so the PCM will relearn the new A/F curves. I just got my car back and put my intake back on, but i think im gonna have to take the car back in cuz its still acting a little funny...

Does this also affect the 05 2.2L's?

is this bouncing under acceleration? or just idle? if it's bouncing when idle, then it can be fixed with a reflash or stage 2. if it's under acceleration, then it might be because you have your maf sensor backwards.

those are my two cents.

if its still doing it, you may have to take the car back to the dealer and have the PCM reflashed. Even though you dont have a stage 1 or 2, they will still reflash the PCM because of the erratic idle

i would try this first. but then if it comes back.. just take it to the dealer. they cant/wont void your warranty for an intake.

p.s. autozone will read the code for you for free.

make sure the mas air is tight. don't kung fu grip it. you will break it.
make sure all the clamps are tight as well, on the tb, and the pcv/breather
