Installed Cobra Heat Exchanger

Well I got my first cooling mod installed...
Cobra Heat Exchanger

Got my interceptor installed a few days ago and lets just say im not really impressed with the gains on the cobra. If i my IAT2's dropped any it was minimal... for the pain in the ass it was I wouldn't have done it... I was able to fix another ~30 oz of coolant in there, but again I got it up to normal running temp and did a 40-100 and IAT2's hit 150... My mods are GM S2 with a 2.9. CAI... Dual Pass/ stu mod here we come...

The cobra wont show huge drops in IAT's, but it does help. I dropped about 10* on a 40-105 pull. Hit about 145 now tops. Did you run into some problems putting it on? Cause mine was really easy, took like 45 minutes tops.

I dont believe you made custom brackets, drilled holes for the brackets, painted the brackets, put new clamps on all hoses, hooked everything up, and bled the system in 45 min oh and dont forget getting it up on ramps and back down. 45 min my ass...

I'll snap a couple pics in 15 min, I'm relaxing in the hot tub now...

I will be doing the stu mod next... that should be pretty easy, oh and bleeding the system is not bad either, took me 5 min a most... I just cleaned up the garage and went over by the car every minute and topped off the coolant.

I suppose it was 45 minutes without the brackets. Brackets took another half hour or so, but I didnt drill any holes, just got them to fit tight. Im actually surprised it hasnt come loose lol, Ive been driving like that for 3 months

Yea... I am going to do dual pass endplate (custom) and the stu mod at the same time... I'm hoping my IAT2's dont ever get above 135 on a 40-120 run.
