Installed GMPP exhaust, got a question

I just installed my GMPP performance exhaust today, and when I got finished, I noticed that I had no air leaks, but condensation was dripping from a couple of the clamp points. I tightened them up, but I still have some dripping from the joint after the resonator. I double checked, and there is no air leaking at all... Do I have the clamp seated wrong or something? just need to tighten more? Is this something that I even need to worry about?

Thanks

a hot exhaust would not condense liquid, only cold objects condense. however, because its humid moisture may build up on a particular part and drip down on or run off the exhaust... my 2 cents

Mine did that last year when I installed it. If you are worried take some crack and joint sealer and seal it up.

600... The prices at crate engine depot went up, and every other retailer is about the same price... it was going to save me a whole like $50 to order it, so I just went to the dealer so I wouldnt have to screw with fedex or UPS

they did, it went up to $426, the tip is $63, thats $490 before shipping, which would put you over 5 bills
I'd rather pay the premium to have it show up at my local dealer next day than screw with shipping

I have been trying for weeks to get it from a dealership. several dealers all say the exhaust systems are on back order and they cant get them.

Thats normal, I wouldn't worry about it. You just have condensation building up around the exhaust joint and it eventually leaks out. As long as there are no air leaks, then your good to go.

If it is, that's bs. It shouldn't be. I should be able to go to any dealership and be able to get GM performance parts. Just like I can get Nismo parts from any Nissan dealership.

Have you tried a couple different dealerships? The first dealership I went to told me it would be a week+, so I moved on....

ordered from CED on a Fri evening, got exhaust following Monday, dealership installed Tues... shouldn't make one bit of difference where you get GMPP products, dealer should install it without issues

PS - my Touring does the same thing...

I have tried a few..... Gary Lang Auto Group, Rockenbach Chevrolet (the 2 biggest dealerships in my area each 20+ acres) Bill Stasek Chevrolet and Jennings chevrolet.... none have them. I still have a few dealerships to hit up before I give up.

Edit: Well maybe raising the bs flag did something. I went to a 5th dealership, and they were able to order it from the warehouse. I should have it by the end of the week.

the delay in ordering could be because chevy ranks their dealers based on customer satisfaction, the higher the satisfaction, the higher the scores which results in more importaince placed on the dealser for selling their products. I know this is true when ordering cars becase some customers have to wait like 6 or 7 weeks just for the car to be built, and oether (like me) only have to wait like 4 weeks for it to be delivered to the dealer. just my 2 cents.

I think it is, because I had a dealer call me and ask me to rate them well on a GM survey
it makes sense
