Angry installed phenolic spacer now idles rough

I have an 04 redline and just installed a phenolic spacer, purge selinoid valve, and na aem drop in filter. I went to turn the car on and i have a really load squeaking noise and the car jumps to 2000 rpm than drops to about 700. does that for a bit than dies. I removed everything and re-installed again just to make sure i had tightened everything down and all the connections were made and it still does the same thing. The squeak seems to be coming from the belt but it is not overly tight and has no cracks or damage. the tensioner does have a slight side to side play. The plugs are darkened. (going to get new ones as soon as I finish typing this post) I also sprayed carb/ maf cleaner into the throttle body and supercharger. Anyone go through this or have an idea of what i should do?

Sounds exactly like a vacuum/boost leak. Try a boost leak tester. You can make one for under $10.

Many LSJ guys have this spacer with no issues at all. I agree with a possible vacuum leak.

did you resuse the bolts, or did you use the extended bolts that come with the spacer?

i used the four new bolts for the intake that it came with and the allen head bolts. I used the one from zzp. I made sure all the bolts were tight maybe i over tightened them? The cel came on after i re-installed everything and put new spark plugs in...

idk...get a can of brake cleaner, turn the car on, and around that area. If that's the only part of the car you fucked around with, the vacuum leak has got to be there.

most likely p0300 - random misfire, which is another symptom of a lean condition caused by a vacuum leak.

i said most likely. I'm not a code reading psychic. But based on the information provided, it will most likely be a code related to a vacuum leak.

Did you make sure and use the 3 spacers for the IC pump? I didn't see them when I installed mine and it idled from 1k to 2.5k, also throwing a p0170 and p0300. After installing the spacers it ran perfectly.

The spacers go between the ic pump and the bottom of the engine. It spaces the bottom section of the intake manifold out so that you get a flush mount on the gaskets. The IC pump is located directly underneath the intake manifold.

Yeah, I had the intake mani off and could get to the top 2 bolts, then I jacked up the car enough to get jack stands under it to get to the 3rd bolt. When you put the "hidden" bolt in, you will have to pull out on the bottom of the manifold to align the bolt up correctly.

it is right above the ic pump bracket to get to that bolt you need to remove the alternator 2 spacers go on the lower manifold bracket and one spacer goes on the ic pump bracket
