installed phenolic spacer now idles rough
Cause you can check all hoses/gaskets/connections at one time with a can of brake clean.
Takes two seconds to hear a leak with a proper BLT. Hell, you can even tell if a headgasket is good or your valves leak depending on how you rotate the motor. Not bad for your $10 tool. Not to mention you should be using carb cleaner or another substance thats O2 sensor safe if using that method.

ok so I have it completely torn apart. can someone tag these images to the exact location of where the spacers are supposed to go. I'm just trying to make sure that I do it right this time haha... Tired of this headache. Thank you.

middle at the bottom, where the circle is, also known as the bitch bolt that is hidden with the intake manifold on.
agreed on a boost leak tester im lazy so i just bought one for 30 bucks shipped with a valve stem fitting and gauge mounted on it. put the compressor on it and you'll hear a leak for sure.

thank you for the link. should be a breeze from here. I really appreciate all your guys help. When I had my other car (a nissan) I would ask for help and all i would do is get flamed on the forums I was on haha
so it's all put back together bolted down hoses are in wires are connected AND... serpintine belt won't go in... can't seem to compresses the tensioner down far enough to get it on... about 1/2 inch from going on... Am I just being a noob or did everyone just get an adjustable tensioner before putting this on...
Got it on! had to pull the pulley off than torque the tensioner down and re install the pully while it was fully compressed. Thank you all for your help, info and most of all patience haha. Test drop it and with the combo of the k an n intake and spacer it feels like the throttle response is a little bit quicker. Checked the supercharger after the run and was definatly not as hot as it would usually be. Great buy amazing learning experience! Next to come is a heat exchanger. Lets how that project goes...
