installing h/e help?
so i got a h/e I traded with a guy on here and for some reason cannot find the holes it might bolt up to? I put it in its place a million times trying to see if there is a way to use current bolts already on it to bolt, but no luck... Should I drill holes?? I will take a picture of it in a minute. Probably not the best h/e, but apparently made for the cobalt ss. Do not know the brand. I found a how to for the h/e but apparently the photobucket on the thread wasn't working. would like this in tonight.
And what are those clips in the behind bumper just before the radiator, looks like it might hold it while it can be bolted on top, but they wouldn't fit either way.
and yes I am mechanically inclined, just wish there might be an easier way of doing it or I might of overlooked something.
here is what the h/e looks like. And yes I have all the hoses and stuff. The brackets on the h/e dont line up with the holes on the t bar. The bracket is too long..

depending on how u mount it u want to mount it t the bar behind the bumper, some do from under while some remove the bumper and mount it to the front of that bar sorry for the pic i reused it from an old post for something else.

I drilled holes in mine, had too basically. make sure you can get to the other side that you can put the nut on. basically if your laying on your back looking up under the car its the big metal piece over head just behind the bumper.
