Intake

Hi in look for an intake for my ss/sc that doesn't throw an cel code or do all of them do

If you are on the stock tune... you are at a greater chance to throw a code.

Modify your factory airbox and drop in a K&N filter and you will have just as much performance as those $200 fancy pipes they sell.

Put the money you save towards a nice free flowing exhaust.

On the SS/SC there isn't much in the way of gains to be made in the intake department. For the LSJ its exhaust exhaust exhaust. Do airbox mod for sound and be done on that side and tune for all mods to make the most of them without a CEL. Even doing the Airbox mod and throwing a K&N like I did kept giving a PO171.

Injen doesn't throw a code on my 2006 ss/sc. If you want a quick easy bolt on intake, it is a great choice, we can have one to you in a day or two as you are just a state away.

^flows less than the stock intake FYI people. Nice intake for sound and looks, but that's it.

Intake

Modded stock intake seems to be the winner imo on SC, I did it to my TC and I've read posts that it can take in enough air for decently big numbers. I would save your money and listen to staged.
