I have been reading how everyone is having problems with the intakes for the ss/sc's, throwing lights and all that. My question is, is there any particular cai that does it less or not at all? I am thinking about the aem, but im not sure. Some input would be great, thanks.

 

lot of guys have the injen and of course theres the jbp which is supposed to not throw any cels.

I have a k&n and got a cel about 2 days after I put it on. The next day it was gone and I haven't seen it since.

 

I'm throwing AEM on my 2.0L tomarrow. I'll let you know how it goes.

 

No one is really having problems with any intake, only problem of one intake is fitment, forgot which one, a cel is a common fixable problem with a scan tool, or tuning software, if you dont want a cel, try out the xtc cai from cobalt-addiction, cobalt-addiction.com

They all cause CEL's.

I heard word that GM has an intake coming out but there has been no talk about that for a while.

 

My Injen CAI has not yet thrown a code and I've driven 2000KM since the install.

they all throw codes at one time or another. If yours hasnt: It hasnt happened yet

You just need tuning to erase the code
