intake vs intake

if i were to have a 3 inch stainless intake custom made at a shop, with a dryflow aem filter, will it produce more power than a raw intake. what is it about the raw intake that makes it produce more power than other intakes, and how do i mimic this?

Smooth bends. Large radius curves. The proper length. Proper MAF placement. There is a lot of science research and design into an intake.

seeing as the air opening into the the supercharger on our cars is less then 3 inches it doesnt really matter, its really overkill until you port your throttle body.
