Intense Stage 3 Reveiw

I got my stage 3 kit put on friday.

Since then I have opened her up quiet a few times, used 4 tanks of gas. At WOT she is a beast, plain and simple. I walked 2 stage 1 srt4's with ease. I walked a 12 sec gtp not off the start but once i hit 3rd gear i pulled increadably hard on him. SOme Honda that was putting 260 to the ground i walked by 3 cars.

I boost 12-13psi at about 1/3rd throttle 15 at half and 17-18 at full.

My Modicifations
Injen Cold Air Intake
INTENSE modular supercharger hub with 2.80” pulley
Lucas 42.5 pound/hour fuel injectors
Casper’s fuel injector connectors
MAF Translator
Autolite 3922 spark plugs

I am also running rich till I get to the dyno this week.

I also was playing with a c5 corvette but a cop intervened in that one before we could determine a winner.

Did you put the same MAF translator settings than Rob ? Did you achieve a flat 12:1 air fuel ratio curve ?

Also interested to know if you used the MAF-T settings that Rob did? I'm just as interested as Jmc in knowing how the 05 PCM reacts to the MAF-T tuning, vs an 06.

edit: Also, did you have a shop install it for you? How hard would you say it would be to revert the splice/soldering to switch to a plug-n-play solution once it's available?

I had rob install it for me while I was at work. If you can solder you can do this, You could even have ass it and splice it in, but I would not recomend that. Ill take some pictures and post them tonight. I am running the same settings as rob. till wensday when we get to the dyno.

Thats pretty cool, Can we just use the maf translator or do we have to have the whole package to get the A/F Ratio? Does this work for high altitude when with a 2.8" pulley i only get 11 PSI?

Sounds awesome. Vids would be great, get in car footage of the gauges so we can see how hard this thing pulls

Thats great how you just add the little part at the end about "oh yea I raped an Evo too" I would have loved to see the look on the Evo driver's face when you walked all over him like it was nothing

My bet is that you can run the MAF translator with the 2.8" pulley and stock injectors to fine tune your air fuel mixture for the midrange RPM's, because you're at high altitude where the air is less dense.

i guess that might actually be a decent race from a roll, since the vette has some wear.... and as long as you're pushing over 250whp

i think the c5 runs right under 350hp and weighs about 300 pounds more than us

don't know if i would be calling a 40~hp upgrade a stage 3 kit though
