when gm comes out with the stage kits being that one of the things that the pcm tuning is goona be a 7k rpm redline how will our sc handle that with the 2.8" pulley? plus if its pushing like 270 whp, how is it going to react with I/H/E. that would be a lil to close to the limits of our pistons and heads right?

I thought it was confirmed the redline won't be increased? Correct me if I'm wrong...

i heard it comes with a mail order hooker from the canary islands too!! if you order in january it comes with a sticker for your winshield that says:

"Mah c@r iz teH Roxorzs!!!11!1!!!!11"

if you order in februaury it comes with an extra cylinder, but no sticker

sweetness. I'd love to order this kit like right now...except i'm worried about the warranty and the money's not there yet.

questions:
1) did you get a smaller belt? or did u adjust the tensioner?
2) did u use the same maf-t settings or did you tune yourself?
3) do you have a wideband to measure your a/f, or a narrowband?
4) do you have any other gauges? something to measure kr perhaps? i heard that could be an issue.

as i said, i'd love to do this, but safety is an issue as well. don't want to be blowing up a motor with only 3k miles on it.

An EVO isn't **** from a roll, AWD Turbos suck on a roll unless they are running some insane amount of power. From a dig that is why it's a 12 second monster because it comes out of the whole like a sling shot. I believe him beating an EVO from perhaps a roll or from a dig if the driver doesn't know how to drive.

Also if the EVO didn't attempt to launch it loses its advantage from a dig as well. My friend in a bone stock auto rx-7 beat an EVO the other day and the other driver admitted it. Just to add fuel to the fire i have beaten my friend in his 7 when i have launched and power shifted.

IF YOU READ....he is using the regular belt and the same settings as FAST06. In another thread he is just ordering a wideband. and i am pretty sure he is running the aeroforce gauge.

This might not all be in this thread but if it is not all here it is in the first thread about this kit.

I'm not doubting the power, hell I'm haveing you put my kit on Thursday, I doubt that he beat an evo, inless it was an eairly edition evo. And with the price of the kit I am just worried about quailty. I will just have to see then.

questions:
1) did you get a smaller belt? or did u adjust the tensioner? No, No
2) did u use the same maf-t settings or did you tune yourself? I am 2-6% richer than Rob is, till i get to the dyno
3) do you have a wideband to measure your a/f, or a narrowband? Nope, Its on order
4) do you have any other gauges? something to measure kr perhaps? i heard that could be an issue. No other guages, and no problems

as i said, i'd love to do this, but safety is an issue as well. don't want to be blowing up a motor with only 3k miles on it. thats what warranty is for, take all mods off replace stock goto dealer and act stupid works for me.

Not on this thread. In the performance section with the title SS VS EVO. Hope that helps
