not true before i went down to a 2.79 pulley and was using the stock stg 2 pulley i dynoed at 251 whp all i had then was a injen intake gm stg2 and cstom 3 in cat back exhaust, honestly my opinion i dont think the intense kits are prperly tuned. just my experience and opinion

I would do like rogue said and put a bigger pulley on for the winter.Unless you want to drive to docs get the hp tuner credits and a couple bucks for his time and he can fix it.

yea i thought of using the bigger pulley as well, what size would be good? i have a 2.5 here that im afraid to use even in the summer with the correct tune. But i know its not the intense tune alone, but basically every tune, im making more boost thus need re-tune or bigger pulley.

I guess i got scared after the bad batch of gas i got right after installation of the kit and had serious KR issues.

So 2.8-2.9? which would put me around 16psi?

from what I understand, most of the time your knock sensors will pick up quite a bit of knock before it becomes actually audible to you.

I think if you can actually hear it....you might have a more serious problem than just a little knock.

At the times its audible i cut off immediately, its only happend twice since ive had the kit, and both times i wasnt paying attention to the guage, so im not sure what it was reading...
