interceptor gauge questions
ok i know that the interceptor gauge is an amazing thing. i was on ott website earlier looking at them. first question, what is the lc-1 thing? is it needed to have the gauge? also how do you install on of these?
the interceptor gauge is pretty simply to install u just straight plug it in so easy to set up isnt much of a problem but im not sure aobut lc-1 thing i beileve it could be to monitor Air/fuel ratio i could be wrong tho i just got a interceptor and aem wideband
Your beating around teh bush a little...
The lc-1 is a wideband controller, not the entire gauge setup...
you use the lc-1, which reads the wideband.. then you can read your actual afr on the interceptor... just like you can any other setting... The afr you can read without the wideband is pretty much useless...

the interceptor is the gauge, i know that. the aem uego is what exactly? just wideband o2 sensor? tried looking for it but only found something that comes with the o2 sensor and a gauge. would i need to run 2 seperate gauges?
the interceptor has 2 seperate options for analog 1 and 2... you can use the lc-1 wideband to send the info to the interceptor gauge and monitor on the analog 1 option... soo that way you can have just one gauge doing the same that 2 would do...

ok sounds good. one more question. with the interceptor does it read the a/f ratio at all without the lc-1? i am thinking i might just get the interceptor and then later get the lc-1.
yea you could get the interceptor gauge... then later buy the lc-1 gauge and wire it to the interceptor to monitor afr as well... whichever you like... i moniter IAT-2 and knock retard, and a few other things with my interceptor... so adding afr to it... doesnt give me enough options so i like having the extra gauge, but my personal preferance...
Do not read the AFR through the interceptor without a wideband.. i have already said this.
That is your commanded AFR. You want to read your actual wideband AFR... because sometimes, the commanded is no where NEAR actual.

I have the innovative lc-1 wideband controller hooked up to my interceptor, but i'm confused about the whole setup with the slope and intercept setting in the guage. I have it working and giving afr #'s but i'm not sure if they are the right #'s. Does anyone else have this exact setup? If so what did you use for the slope and intercept #'s for it?
