Interceptor Help

So I put my aeroforce interceptor in yesterday but it does not turn on when i turn the car on i have to unplug the OBD2 plug and plug it back in to get it to turn on. When I turn the car off it goes off 15 secs later. Why isnt this working corectly. I only have the OBD2 plug install, not the other three wires, help....................

Haha, I had the same problem and did that for a year. All you have to do is take out the little resistor on the back.

That should help. It seems miniscule, but that is what that is for.

Yup, that little piece, trust me, I know how you feel. I unplugged it and then replugged it every time I got in the car for over a year.

And, no. Those other little wires are not necessary. All you need is that one red one. The other ones are for extra inputs.

If you have a new interceptor I believe they are powered right from the OBD port.

I may not have connected it to anything actually. I believe there is some reason that I connected it. Do the old Trial and Error method.
I can tell you that you do not need that little red resistor like thing.
You may have to connect the red power wire from the interceptor to the pink wire than is plugged into the boost gauge. It may run without it, but I can't remember if that is when it would like... not turn the car off until a couple seconds after I pulled the key out.

On certain years you have to have an external power source. The ODBII pin outs changed. Look at the manual on their site. It tells you all about it.
