Interceptor problem

Lately my interceptor has been getting almost too bright to read when the car is on and yesterday I was driving and it randomly turned off and started up twice then just turned off. I tried hooking it up to a few different power sources but it wont turn on at all. Anyone have any ideas on what's going on? Is there a fuse in the gauge or something or did it just die? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Too bright to read? Is it getting warm in your car when you leave it outside? I cant read mine because its like 150 degrees in my car when I get in, (LCD + heat = ****!) 30 minutes of AC and driving makes it come back a little. haha

Turning on and off too? weird, have not seen that on mine. how is the connection? seems to be shorting out. there are really little prongs on the back for the connections did one of those break?

It used to be fine until I started the car, then it would get bright like there was too much power to it. I tried a few different wires and they were all bright. Now that it won't turn on I tried hooking power straight to the power prong (center of the three) and it still didnt turn on.
