Interceptor shift lights?????

I was wondering how you set up the shift lights on the interceptor gauge? I read the manual but can't seem to get them to work. Please help?

you have to set it over rpms and set the number to where you want the light to come on

Hit both buttons on face of the gauge at the same time then the main menu pops up. Next make sure in the setup menu you have RPM's selected for one of the perameters the gauge is supposed to monitor. Next scroll down the main menu until annunciator is highlightes and select it. it will ask you to select what number you want it to come on at, next screen I think will give you a list of perameters to select from (RPM, IAT1, IAT2, etc. basically what you selected in the setup menu) select RPM and then the next screen will ask you over or under. You want to select over and then exit and it should restart the gauge. This might not be exact but it should get you pretty close. Let me know if you need anything else...

Once you're done setting up the annunciator it will automatically turn on. Also FYI every time you go into setup and change the perameters you're viewing you will have to setup the annunciator again...

I personally set it a few hundred RPM's below my rev limiter because by the time the light comes on and you get to shifting you're right at your rev limiter. If you're at 7000 I"d say set it at 6700 or so and tweek it based on how fast you shift. I have dual interceptors so I have one set at 500 RPM's below and the other at 250 RPM's below so it shows in stages...

its not hard ask for more help if you want and I will write up my 5 paragraph description again lol. I found it out without any help and you can also . play around with it and set it at low rpms so you dont rev the **** out of your engine when testing it lol. I have my light set at 6,500 and its on ABOVE.

yea if your rev limit is 7000 you don't want it to come on at 7000 because by then it's too late. You want it just a bit before so you have time to react to it and shift...
