ss s/c has a water to air intercooler. The "intercooler" is in the intake manifold and the Heat exchanger that keeps it "cool" is mounted between the radiator and the a/c condensor. It's very small and really doesn't work that well. It heat soaks very fast. Upgrade to a Front mount heat exchanger. The cheapest way is to get a stock 03-04 cobra h/e. They go for $100 or less shipped. They are a lot longer and work really well. Or you can do like me and get an aftermarket. I'm getting a Fluidyne h/e for a cobra. It is a triple pass design and is real thick, I'll probably have to cut the front bumper a little to get it to fit, but a guy with a redline on the redline forums has this and he says it stays Ice cold. It's totally up to you, but the stock h/e is crap.
