today i noticed i was low on coolant so i decided to test my intercooler pump while i added some and noticed that it is not working. i put a screwdriver down the fill nozzel and no coolant was flowing with my car on. can someone tell me where the pump is or post a pic so i can try to knock the metal shavings loose to see if it works again?

nevermind i just found it. took a hammer to it and its back to normal

 

Time to get new.

 

how hard did u hit it?? i tryed hiting mine and i cant seem to get it to work... i know where its at and i just dont want to crack it lol.. it dont work but atleast it dont leak. did u hit it on the right or left side( passanger or driver side? bottom ?)

 

i hit mine from the bottom. i just gave it about 10 medium whacks with the bottom and it started working again

 

herm lol i still cant get mine to work.. any other ideas besides buying a new 1? just cant afford it right now( or anyone got 1 used 1 that works for sale?)

 

Take it apart and try to clean it. On my old one the magnet inside broke so it couldn't be fixed.

 

dood, I would replace the pump, your playing russian roulette. That pump stop again and you go wot... it could be the end of your lsj
