but just like was said above by m-dub and such that all depends on the tune and how often you take it WOT. a lot of people change them every oil change if not every other

Im re dynoing and doing a little more tuning in a week or so since we just did a full 3 inch exhaust yesterday. Ill let you know the graphs then too and it will be on iridium plugs.

Im just defending the fact that its trial and error but more and more are going to iridium

And I know the every dyno is different will come out. Im just stating a fact that I am a high HP car on the site running iridiums
Not trying to detract from your post here, but if you don't go to the same dyno M-Dub does you cannot compare your dyno numbers to his at all. Every dyno is different. My car with my 2.6" and all the bolts ons only laid down 238whp and 230wtrq on a Mustang dyno. I'd be willing to bet that my car is indeed faster than your 2.7" pulley setup too.

I guess you can't read too well.

I stated I was not trying to make this a contest.

I even said someone would come and say every dyno is different(Mustang dynos always show lower numbers, usually much much lower then dyno jets. I dynod on a dyno jet as did M-Dub and within reason they should be close to the same specs)

I also stated I was purely stating the numbers and our comparison because for M-dub to make a general statement that all the high horsepower cars on the site iuse copper is wrong. Because i use iridium and I am one of the high horsepower cars on the site.

but thank you for stating your numbers and stating your faster then me, which i also never said about M-Dub I just stated I probably have more hp to the wheels which would make me a high hp car on the site.

long story short i prefer the iridium and they are working great for me. That is my suggestion. And for everyone to say use copper thats what everyone uses does not make it the best solution.

also im done jacking this guys post. thank you for listening

no its the style of dyno, most dyno numbers you see are from dyno jet. the mustang dyno reports lower numbers but it is still making more power

yeah they are expensive and most places do not invest in them if they are not going to get the money back. in most cases street tuning is more reliable though cause its the actual conditions you are going to drive in. But off topic

let us know what you decide on the plugs and how things work out
